OPPO has officially launched not only its own cheapest 5G smartphone, but also another entry-level which costs even less, naturally without 5G connectivity. Those who have a very limited budget and value the brand might be very pleased to know that the new is official OPPO A15s. It is a variant of OPPO A15 which has landed only a few days ago on the Italian market, and differs from the latter for the memory configuration and the front camera.
While the standard version is equipped with 2 or 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, the new OPPO A15s mounts 4GB of RAM and offers 64GB of storage. Instead of the 5 MP front camera we have a better sensor from 8 Megapixel. The remaining technical specifications remain practically the same. Among these we find a 6,52-inch display with HD + resolution, a MediaTek Helio P35 processor and a triple rear camera of 13 + 2 + 2 MP.
There is also a 4230 mAh battery on board, while the operating system is Android 10 customized by ColorOS 7.2. OPPO A15s is particularly elegant not only for its modern look, but also for its contained thickness and weight: the device is 7,9 mm thick and weighs 175 grams. The marketing took place in India, where it will be available from 21 December in Fancy White and Rainbow Silver colors at a price equivalent to approximately €127 at the current exchange rate. Italian users can instead opt for the standard OPPO A15 variant, available in electronics chains and on Amazon under 140 €.
