The ColorOS 11 is making its way through updates on the entire catalog of compatible smartphones. These days it is the turn of 3 other devices, which are receiving the awaited new version of the user interface based on Android 11. One of them is OPPO A52, even if the update does not yet concern the Italian market. The new firmware was in fact released on the Asian market, where it carries the build number CPH2061_11_C.17 and has a weight of 3,5 GB.
OPPO A52 thus receives the ColorOS 11.1, which in Asia can be installed both by those who have not joined the beta testing program and by those who had instead joined: for the latter, the update will have a weight of only 272 MB. In addition to A52 it is also updating OPPO A92, with a firmware bearing the build number CPH2059NV56_11_C.17 and has a weight of 3,2 GB. To conclude, the ColorOS 11 is also coming up OPPO F11 and F11 Pro and also in this case we find version 11.1: the build numbers are respectively CPH1911_11_F.04 e CPH1969_11_F.04 for each terminal.
The update, which arrived via OTA, also includes the December 2020 security patch. On the most recent F17 Pro the Android 11 operating system has been around for some time, but security patches for January 2021 via a 398MB update with build number CPH2119_11_C.22. Unfortunately none of the aforementioned updates concern Italy (even if the A52 should be shortly away, it could arrive as early as this month), for which the Android 11 official roadmap for the global market.
