Just yesterday we told you about the first OPPO smartphone with the new processor Snapdragon 480 which brings 5G connectivity even on the low cost range. Well, apparently this smartphone, recently spotted on benchmarks, is OPPO A93 5G. This was revealed by the Chinese operator China Telecom, which has published both its images and technical specifications, dispelling any doubts about the new budget phone.
Although there is already an A93 with 4G connectivity, OPPO A93 5G is a very different device from its base variant. Identified by the model code PEHM00, the device comes with an elegant curved screen in a silver colouration with a rectangular camera module.
China Telecom reveals that the smartphone is equipped with a Full HD + AMOLED display 6,5 inch. Together with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G processor there are 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. On the back there is a 48 + 2 + 2 Megapixel triple camera, while on the front we have an 8 MP sensor in a hole in the upper left of the display. The battery has a capacity of 5000 mAh with 18W fast charge support.
OPPO A93 5G has an audio jack, a fingerprint reader mounted on the power button and a USB-C port for charging. The features are remarkable for a budget smartphone, and we are talking above all about the memory and display configuration. According to the operator, it will be marketed in China on January 15th in Aurora, Dazzling Black and Elegant Silver colors at a price of approximately 280 € at the current exchange rate.
