The beginning of September was the time of updates for users of OPPO Find X2 Neo and Lite in Italy. The two smartphones have in fact received a new update that has also been added to the official website for those who do not want to wait for the notification to arrive via OTA. The change log of the new update consists of two items: the first confirms the arrival of August security patch, while the second reports system performance and stability improvements.
The new Find X2 Neo and Lite firmware are still based on ColorOS 7, although there are other smartphones that have already received version 7.1 in Italy. We leave you the links to manually download the updates: if you do not know how to proceed with the manual installation, consult our guide for Reno2 which, however, is also valid for the other OPPO smartphones, including Find X2 Neo and Lite. In both cases we are talking about a weight of over 3 GB, so we recommend downloading via a WiFi connection. The build numbers are CPH2009_11_A.42 and CPH2005_11_A.42 respectively.
In the meantime, our community has reported that OPPO A91 has started updating to ColorOS 7 and Android 10. In this case the smartphone switches directly to ColorOS 7.1 with the build number CPH2021EX_11_C.40. The update came in Germany and unfortunately not yet in Italy, but those who wish can download it by pointing a VPN in Germany. If you don't know how to update via VPN, here is the dedicated guide complete with video.
