Just as happened last month, OPPO has released in Italy a new update for the two mid-range smartphones of the Find series. Is Oppo Find X2 Neo the Find X2 Lite have received an update whose changelog contains exactly the same news. For the former the update brings the build number CPH2009_11_A.56 and has a weight of 339 MB. For the second we have the build number instead CPH2005_11_A.56: as you can see in the version number only the model code of the smartphone changes, precisely because it is the same update arrived via OTA.
The new update for OPPO Find X2 Neo and Lite introduces the Android security patch for November which improve the security of the operating system. Also included in the new firmware are operating system performance and stability improvements. The changelog is similar to the previous update released for the two phones, which instead contained the October patches and was released last month. The software therefore remains at ColorOS 7 and it is a minor update, but still appreciated due to the new patches.
By owning these smartphones, we have personally received the updates. As per official roadmap, the arrival of ColorOS 11 in Europe on OPPO Find X2 Neo and Lite is scheduled for the first quarter of 2021. If we exclude the Find X2 Pro which has already started updating to the new major version, they will be the first smartphones of the manufacturer to update to Android 11 in the Western European market, which also includes Italy.
