OPPO Band Style is official with AMOLED display and SpO2 sensor

di Michael Frosty

9 months after the presentation of his first smartband, OPPO has finally launched it outside the Chinese borders, albeit with a slightly different name. In India it has just made its debut OPPO Band Style: it is the same wearable launched last year in China, if we exclude the change in the name. The wearable is characterized by a particularly original design, with a metal frame to which the silicone strap is anchored.

OPPO Band Style has a AMOLED display from 1,1 inch with a resolution of 126 x 294 pixels and high DCI-P3 coverage. 40 watch faces can be set on the screen and inside the device there is an Apollo 3 processor combined with 16 MB of memory. It supports 12 sport tracking modes (including running, walking, cycling, elliptical, cricket, badminton, swimming and yoga) and is waterproof up to 5 ATM, so it can also be used for swimming. It can monitor sleep and heart rate.

The battery of OPPO Band Style is 100 mAh and lasts 12 days with a single charge; it takes an hour and a half to recharge it. The colors are two: black and vanilla. The wearable device is on sale in India with a list price of approx 34 € at the exchange rate, but will drop to 32 euros for those who buy it by March 23 on Amazon India, Flipkart and physical stores in India. Will it arrive in Europe? No news, but it cannot be ruled out that it may coincide with the release of the Find X3 series, scheduled for March 11th.
