We have the release date: the Indian division of OPPO has published an image on the official website that officially reveals when its new mid-range will be launched OPPO F17 and F17 Pro. The date to be circled on the calendar is 2 Settembre, at 19 local time. The image also clearly shows the design of the Pro version, which will feature one of the thinnest and lightest designs ever.
Several have also been published official videos which reveal some features of the new line-up. One concerns artificial intelligence at the service of portrait mode. In two other videos it is highlighted how OPPO F17 Pro is the most elegant smartphone of 2020. The specifications of the two smartphones were instead revealed by a well-known leakster and place them perfectly in the mid-range segment.
The two terminals will have 6,4-inch AMOLED displays with Full HD + resolution, while their processors will be respectively Snapdragon 662 and MediaTek Helio P95. The standard OPPO F17 will have 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of memory, while the Pro variant will be in 8/256 GB configuration. The rear camera will be quadruple in both cases but the main sensor will change, respectively from 16 and 48 Megapixels. The batteries will be 4000 mAh with fast charging at 30W.
