The launch events of the OPPO Find X3 series. The top of the range of the line-up are Find X3 and X3 Pro, of which only the second has been announced for Europe. The top of the range brings to the market a unique design that required great production efforts, a spectacular display and class-leading cameras.
Both the display and the camera are characterized by the new Full-path Color Management Engine, a system that brings the true 10-bit color depth both in the camera and in the display to ensure a top experience in color reproduction.
OPPO FIND X3 PRO
The new OPPO Find X3 Pro has a design really attractive due to a very elaborate manufacture of the glass rear shell. A long heating process made it possible to make the display curve in order to create a camera module that protrudes “gradually” from the rear body, instead of creating a step, all in order to maintain an enviable aesthetic. The smartphone is thick 8,26 mm, weight 193 grams and it's waterproof with IP68 certification. There are two colors: a glossy black and a matte blue.
OPPO Find X3 Pro mounts a AMOLED LTPO display 6,7 inches with Quad HD + resolution, adaptive refresh rate from 5 Hz to 120 Hz (which can reduce screen power consumption by up to 40%), a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz and a brightness of up to 1300 nits. The screen has already earned an A + rating from DisplayMate by setting 12 records.
The processor that powers it is one Snapdragon 888 with Snapdragon X60 modem, accompanied by 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 internal memory. There is a dual SIM slot on board with 5G SA and NSA support for both cards and up to 13 international bands. On the connectivity side we also find Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6E and USB-C 3.1 port. The operating system is Android 11 with ColorOS 11.2, while the speakers are stereo with Dolby Atmos support.
In the photographic sector lurk most of the surprises of this OPPO Find X3 Pro: the device mounts not one but two main cameras. We are talking about a 766 Megapixel Sony IMX50 dual sensor with f / 1.8 aperture, OIS and All Pixel omnidirectional autofocus. To these sensors are added a 13 MP telephoto lens with 5x hybrid zoom (2x optical) and a spectacular 3MP macro camera with LED ring able to act as a microscope thanks to the zoom up to 60x. This sensor is also capable of recording Full HD video. The front camera is 32 Megapixel and finds space in a hole in the display.
Battery side we find a capacity of 4500 mAh, SuperVOOC 2.0 fast charge at 65W (from 0 to 40% in 10 minutes) and the 30W AirVOOC wireless charging (from 0 to 100% in 80 minutes). OPPO Find X3 Pro will be available for purchase starting from March 30th at a list price of 1149 euros for Europe.

There is also OPPO Find X3, but only in China
At least for now the standard version is not planned for the European market: it was only launched in China. The difference between the two models lies in the hardware sector, since the standard variant is powered by the chipset Snapdragon 870 instead of the Snapdragon 888.
The memory configurations are 8/128 GB and 8/256 GB: we therefore have a change also from the point of view of RAM. Finally, we add that the Pro variant was launched in China also in other configurations in addition to the 12/256 GB one: one from 8/256 GB and one from 16/512 GB.
