OPPO has decided to give its users the opportunity to express their love for those who are far away with a simple gesture, and it has done so by launching a new and useful function for the ColorOS, installed on your smartphones. It's about a gesture, which can be carried out with the screen off, which allows you to draw and send a heart to the people we love in a single stroke, in order to make him feel that we are there even if they are far away.
Once the functionality is activated and configured, simply take your smartphone and draw a heart on the display while the device is in standby: immediately after, using the internet connection, the device will make the heart appear on the smartphone of the person concerned wherever it is.
And if the recipient reciprocates by drawing a heart too, both users they will display the animation of two hearts joining together. A great way not only to let someone know that we are thinking this, but also to send a quick warning or confirmation signal.
Unfortunately for now the newly launched feature is only available in China and it seems to have arrived on the series OPPO Reno5 just launched in the Asian country (whose devices will arrive in Europe in March under the Find X3 series). Of course, both users must have an OPPO that supports this feature for it to work properly. For those who own a device imported from China that supports the feature, to use it just follow these steps:
- Update your smartphone to the latest version from Settings> Software update
- Go back to Settings
- Go to Utility Tools
- Activate and configure the gesture in this section
- Draw the heart with the screen off
