OPPO has officially confirmed the release date of the series Reno 5 5G: the will arrive 10 December, just under 2 months from the debut of the Reno4 series in Italy. However, the date in question does not concern the launch of the new smartphones on the global market: they will be presented in China. The confirmation came through an official teaser published on Weibo by the same company: it defined the new devices "the Diamond Glow series", which seems a reference to the color variations.

The leakster Digital Chat Station also released a yield on Weibo showing the front of all 3 models of the new range: OPPO Reno 5, 5 Pro and 5 Pro +. The basic version has a flat screen, while the other two models have a curved screen on the sides. Another tipster posted one instead live photos which shows the rear of the basic version, with a design similar to that of Reno4 and a gradient “Glow” color ranging from blue to pink.

OPPO Reno5 will have a Snapdragon 765G processor, the Pro version will have a Dimensity 1000+ and the Pro + will mount a Snapdragon 865, which so far has been a prerogative only of the top of the range. The Chinese company has also confirmed the release of its next top-of-the-range smartphones, those of the Find X3 series, for the first quarter of 2021. The devices should be called Find X3 and X3 Pro, and it has been confirmed that among their specifications there will be the new processor Snapdragon 888 just unveiled by Qualcomm.
