Officially debuts in India there global version of OPPO Reno4 Pro: the latest smartphone from the Reno series which was launched in March in China. But the variant for the international market does not have much in common with the Chinese one: the technical specifications have been changed so that the smartphone can be more convenient. While we await information regarding the debut of this new smartphone in Europe (for now there are no statements), we can examine its characteristics thanks to the launch on the Indian market.
OPPO Reno4 Pro: technical characteristics
OPPO Reno4 Pro in the global version has a 6,5-inch Super AMOLED E3 display with Full HD + resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sample rate, 1100nit peak brightness, integrated fingerprint reader and certified to play Netflix content in 1080p. On board we also find a punch-hole front camera and support for Dolby Atmos for the audio part.
OPPO Reno4 Pro is powered with the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G which replaces the 765G present on the Chinese variant: support for 5G networks is therefore lost. The RAM memory amounts to 8 GB, while the integrated one is 128 or 256 GB. On the rear body there is a quadruple camera with 586 MP Sony IMX1.7 f / 48 main sensor, 8 MP wide-angle lens, 2 MP macro sensor and 2 MP monochrome lens.
On the front there is a Sony IMX616 sensor from 32 Megapixel f / 2.4, while inside we find a 4000 mAh battery with support for fast charging 2.0W SuperVOOC 65. According to the company, the OPPO Reno4 Pro camera can take pictures even in total darkness; it also supports Ultra Steady mode for stabilization in videos. There is also an advanced cooling system using copper and graphite. The battery charges fully in just 36 minutes and provides 4 hours of YouTube video playback with just 5 minutes of charging.
All with a safe charging system, certified by TÜV Rheinland. OPPO Reno4 Pro was released on the Indian market in Starry Night and Silky White colors, at a starting price of €390, with availability from August 5th on Amazon and Flipkart.

In addition to the Pro variant, it is also official Reno4 in 4G and Global version, however, it was only launched in Thailand, where its price is around € 325 at current exchange rates. The technical specifications are almost the same with few differences. The device differs from the Pro version for a dual front camera of 32 + 2 Megapixel instead of a single 2 MP, as well as for fast charging at 30W instead of 65W. The colors chosen are blue and Space Black.
