One week after the release, OPPO Reno5 and Reno5 Pro are already in pre-order in China thanks to the well-known online store JD.com. The opening of pre-orders and a dedicated page on the official website reveals important information on the new mid-range smartphones whose presentation has been set for 10 December, as well as showing theirs in full design. The devices appear in fact in renderings that depict them in three different colors: one black, one blue and one white with a gradient that should take the name of Moonlight Black, Aurora Blue and Starry Dream.

The aesthetics are not so different from that of the Reno4 series, with OPPO Reno5 having a flat display and the Pro variant that comes with a curved screen. Both devices are equipped with a punch-hole display (with a hole for the front camera at the top left) and a quad rear camera in a rectangular module. The volume rocker is positioned on the left, while on the right is the power button. On the lower edge there is the SIM slot, a USB-C port for charging and the speaker.
The price lists confirm the memory configurations: 8/128 GB and 12/256 GB for both devices. Both smartphones support the quick charge to 65W, have a main camera from 64 Megapixel and support for 5G connectivity. The data sheet should also include the Snapdragon 765G processor for the standard version and Dimensity 1000+ for the Pro. It is not mentioned in pre-orders, but there is also an additional Pro + variant with Snapdragon 865.
