While everyone is waiting for news for the landing on the international markets, today 18 December OPPO Reno5 and Reno5 Pro officially went on sale in China. The smartphones were made available for purchase at 10 am local time and a few hours after launch we already have official sales data that literally leave you speechless. The new line-up had a amazing success even before the announcement of the Pro + variant which will be the most powerful of the trio.
According to the official data provided, in just 10 minutes of sales, OPPO Reno5 and 5 Pro have generated revenues of 100 million Yuan, equivalent to almost 12,5 million euros at the current exchange rate. An incredible response that rewards the efforts of the manufacturer for having released two devices with excellent value for money, as well as at the top of the avant-garde.
OPPO Reno5 5G in the standard version was released in two memory configurations: one from 8/128 GB sold at a price of 2699 Yuan (about 337 € at current exchange rate) and one from 12/256 GB sold at 2999 Yuan (about 374 €). OPPO Reno5 Pro 5G was also launched in the same memory configurations, but the list prices amount to 3399 Yuan (about 424 €) and 3799 Yuan (about 475 €) respectively. The smartphones are powered by Snapdragon 765G and Dimensity 1000+ processors and run ColorOS 11 based on Android 11.
OPPO SuperVOOC Mini is also on sale
In addition to the Reno5 series it was also made available for purchase in China OPPO SuperVOOC Mini: the innovative ultra-compact portable charger that supports fast charging well 50 of power. The GaN charger (which stands for gallium nitride, a material that guarantees higher voltages and lower temperatures), which measures 82,2 x 39 x 10,05 mm and weighs 60 grams, is available for purchase at the price of 49,99 € (399 Yuan).
