Yesterday Realme held a Global event in which it launched 3 new products in Europe: Realme 8 Pro, Buds Air 2 and Watch S Pro. In the meantime, the presentation of the 8 series took place in India, however, unlike the old continent on the market A second device has also arrived from India. We are talking about the Realme 8 in standard version, more affordable and with lower-end specifications.
Marketed in the peninsula in the Cyber Silver and Cyber Black colors (the model you see on the right is the Pro variant in the Illuminating Yellow color), the terminal has a thickness of 7,99 mm and a weight of 177 grams. Although it is cheaper, this device also mounts a AMOLED display, which has a 6,4-inch diagonal, a brightness of up to 1000 nits, a touch sampling rate of 180 Hz and Full HD + resolution.
Powering it is a processor MediaTek Helio G95, the same as the predecessor which we also talked about extensively in one review, flanked by 4/6/8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB internal memory. The smartphone can count on a liquid cooling system to contain temperatures and has a quadruple rear camera from 64 + 8 + 2 + 2 Megapixels, while on the front it has a 16 MP sensor.
The battery is from 5000 mAh with 30W Dart fast charging, while the operating system is Android 11 customized by Realme UI 2.0. The prices for the Indian market amount to 175, 187 and 199 euros (at current exchange rates) for the memory variants 4/128 GB, 6/128 GB and 8/128 GB respectively. Sales started today on Flipkart, official website and other stores.

Realme Smart LED Bulb is also official

Realme also unveiled its first smart light bulb: Smart LED Bulb. The bulb was announced in two versions: one of 9W and 800 lumens and a more powerful one of 12W and 1000 lumens, both with 16 million colors and 1700K-6500K color temperature. Smart LED Bulb does not emit blue light and supports app control and voice commands; its life cycle is 13 years. For now, the bulb has only been launched in India with prices of around 9 and 11 euros.
Realme 8 5G is already on the schedule
After the launch of Realme 8 and 8 Pro, both 4G smartphones, the existence of a 5G model of the series, also scheduled for this year. The terminal has received the NBTC certification with model code RMX3241 and has been officially confirmed since CEO. We do not yet know the specifications of this smartphone and according to the words of the CEO its arrival is not exactly imminent.
