When Realme presented and launched the Bud's Air 2 we thought a cheaper alternative could hardly come in the market segment of true wireless headphones with active noise cancellation. But the Chinese brand itself has surpassed itself and launched a variant that is characterized by an even more ridiculous price: the Realme Buds Air 2 Neo.
Featuring an in-ear design with a form factor similar to that of the Buds Q, these new true wireless earbuds have exactly the same ANC technology, but they are offered at a lower price. Thanks to the ANC technology of the Realme Buds Air 2 Neo it is possible to have the active noise cancellation up to 25 dB which works through the custom Realme R2 chip. In addition to canceling the ambient noise, it is also possible to let it all enter the ear cups by activating the transparency mode.
And with the dual microphone installed on the headphones it is possible to have noise cancellation even in calls. The earbuds have 10mm drivers with Liquid Crystal Polymer coating and connect to playback devices such as smartphones via the Bluetooth 5.2 and the Realme Link app which can adjust noise cancellation, equalizer and other settings.
They also have a low latency mode useful for the gamer, with a latency of 88 ms. They support AAC HD and SBC. The battery has an autonomy of 20 hours with active ANC and up to 25 hours without, while with a single recharge and without the aid of the case to recharge them they last 5 hours. Thanks to the fast charge with 10 minutes of recharge it is possible to have 3 hours of autonomy.
Realme Buds Air 2 Neo are also suitable for sportsmen, considering that they have the IPX5 certification which guarantees resistance to sweat and rain. The Realme Buds Air 2 Neo have been marketed in Pakistan at a price of about 44 euro at the exchange rate in Active Black and Calm Gray colors. For now, no news regarding a European marketing.
