There is still a week to separate us from the official presentation of Realm GT 5G, the next top of the range (or rather flagship killer) from Realme. However, there are very few secrets left on the new smartphone ready to whiz on the global market. Numerous teasers, videos and leaks have almost revealed everything you need to know, starting from the design up to the technical specifications and the price for the Chinese market.
The design of Realme GT 5G
Many videos and images have revealed the design of Realme GT 5G in all its glory. The device will be released in two design variants: a yellow and a black one in vegan skin named Bumblebee and a classic one with a glass body. On the front there will be a flat punch-hole display, while on the back there will be a rectangular camera module which on the leather variant will be at the beginning of a black band that will cross the smartphone vertically.
Specifications
According to what was revealed by the official posters, Realme GT 5G has a 6,8-inch Super AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate and a fingerprint reader integrated into the screen. Under the chassis is a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 supported by 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal memory. The smartphone will be equipped with a stainless steel vapor chamber cooling system and on the connectivity side it will feature support for 5G and Wi-Fi 6.
As an operating system there will of course be Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0. On the back we will have a triple camera with 64 Megapixel main sensor, 13 MP wide angle lens and 13 MP telephoto lens. The battery capacity is 5000 mAh with support for fast charging at 65W or 125W.

Price and release date
The launch date of Realme GT 5G has been set for March 4 in China and the top of the range should arrive shortly after also on the European market. Xu Qi Chase has revealed the price for China, which will be around 380 euros at the current exchange rate. Reservations have already been opened in China and the device has already been booked by a million people, testifying to the crazy hype surrounding this flagship killer. Unfortunately, there is still no information about the price for Europe.
