After the announcement of ColorOS 11, Realme is also preparing to officially announce the new version of its Android customization. As confirmed by the company itself, Realme UI 2.0 will be presented on 21 Settembre along with the Narzo 20 smartphone series and the entry-level Realme C17. The new user interface will be based on Android 11 and being a major version it will contain a very high number of novelties.
Changelog with the news of Realme UI 2.0
Thanks to the beta version (which was launched only on X50 Pro 5G for a limited number of people, with a weight of 3,2 GB) the changelog of the new customization containing its news has also been published, which we report below.
Customization
Within the Realme UI 2.0 changelog there are several new features regarding customization. Specifically, the ability to customize the Dark Mode up to 3 different color accents (soft, medium and increasing) and support for third-party icons for apps will be introduced. On the Smart Sidebar, it will be possible to customize the part of the instruments through the appropriate edit menu. The charging of the smartphone at night has also been optimized with the help of artificial intelligence which will serve to preserve the battery in the long term.
Launcher
In the system launcher it is now possible to remove a folder or combine it with a different folder. Filters for customizing the application drawer have also been introduced.
System and communication
The Do Not Disturb mode is enriched with the function to set its exact duration, animations for the weather have been added and an optimization for automatic brightness has also arrived. The option to share the WiFi hotspot with the QR Code is also added.
Toys
Within the games it will be possible to use a new immersive mode that will minimize disturbances, the game statistics have arrived and you can also change the way in which to open the Game Assistant.
Privacy and security
One of the most important innovations of the Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 is the System Cloner: a feature to create a separate space of the operating system to be customized differently than the original space. In the quick settings the shortcut for App Lock has arrived and the permissions management has been optimized which now offers the possibility to provide one-time permissions.
Camera and images
With Cloud Sync it is now possible, from the photo app, to upload images to the cloud. The photo editing function instead receives new algorithms and new filters. In the camera app we find shortcuts for immediate sharing and editing of photos and videos, zoom optimizations and the functionality to detect the presence of spots on the lenses. Finally came the level and the grid for videos.
Which smartphones will receive the update to Realme UI 2.0
We can already provide you with a non-definitive list of smartphones that should receive the update to Realme UI 2.0 and Android 11. The list is based on the company's previous policies and is not yet official: for the official we should wait at least for the presentation of 21 September.

Realme C17 and Narzo 20 series
September 21 will not only be the day of Realme UI 2.0, but 4 new smartphones will also be officially presented. Three of these belong to the Narzo 20 series and are Narzo 20, 20A and 20 Pro. The first will have a MediaTek Helio G85 processor, 4/64 GB and 4/128 GB configurations, and Victory Blue and Glory Silver colors. The second will have a Snapdragon 662 and will come in 3 / 32GB and 4 / 64GB configurations.
The third will have a 6,5 ″ Full HD + 90 Hz display, a Helio G95 processor, 6/64 GB and 8/128 GB configurations, 48 + 8 + 2 + 2 MP quad rear camera, 16 front camera MP and 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging. The manufacturer will also present Realme C17 with 6,5 "display at 90 Hz, Snapdragon 460 processor, 6/128 GB configuration, 13 + 8 + 2 + 2 MP quad camera and 5000 mAh battery with 18W charging.
