While in Italy the availability of OPPO Watch from 46 mm, in Asia it has become official realme watch s: another interesting smartwatch, but much cheaper than OPPO's proposal. Unlike the first smartwatch launched by the Chinese brand, this new model is characterized by a circular display instead of a square screen. The panel is 1,3 inches with adaptive brightness and has a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels; it is protected by Gorilla Glass.
The device has an aluminum case with two physical buttons on the right and silicone straps with a choice of 4 colors: blue, orange, green and black. The wearable is IP68-certified waterproof up to 1,5 meters deep, however the company has stated that it is not suitable for swimming or use in the shower. Realme Watch S has 12 pre-installed watch faces but in the coming months it seems that they will reach 100. On the wearable we find a PPG heart rate sensor but also a SpO2 sensor to monitor blood oxygen saturation.
They are supported 16 sport monitoring modes including the exercise bike, plus sleep monitoring, call rejection, smart notifications, music and camera control. The operating system is proprietary and the battery has a capacity of 390 mAh with autonomy of 15 days. Realme Watch S will go on sale from November 14 in Pakistan at a price of approx 80 € at the current exchange rate, while there is still no information regarding the rest of the world.
